私の持っている『ジーニアス英和辞典〈改訂版〉』では、この even の用法について、

human と beings のあいだに fucking が入っていますが、やはり 『ジーニアス英和辞典』に、

    語気を強めるだけで特に意味はない

この文は疑問文なので、わかりやすくするためにふつうの文（平叙文）にしてみます。

〈try to 動詞の原形〉で「～しようとする」。

ここではそれが現在進行形になっているので「～しようとしている」。

何をしようとしているかというと to say なので、「言おうとしている」。

ここまでで、

    あなたは ... と言おうとしている。

となります。

では、何を言おうとしているのか。

you want to kiss me （あなたは私にキスをしたい）、です。

say のあとには、このように 〈主語+動詞～〉の形が来ることがあります。

という意味があります。


それから、the most ～ はいわゆる比較級の「最上級」の表現なので「一番（最も）～」。

Paris is the most beautiful で「パリは一番美しい」。

in the rain は「雨の中で」。

ですので、

実のところ、パリは雨の中が一番美しい。
    ↓

婚約者と別れたあと、大好きなパリの夜を散歩する主人公。

そこに、主人公が好きになった古い曲のレコードを売っている古道具屋の女性が歩いてくる。

「いっしょにコーヒーでも飲まない？  あっ、雨...。」
「大丈夫、濡れてもいいの。」

っていう感じ。

いいシーンだ...。

mind は「気にする、嫌だと思う」という動詞。

I don't mind で「私は気にしない、嫌じゃない」。

ちなみに、Don't mind. っていうふうに否定の形の命令形にすると、

    気にするな！

ってなります。

ずっとむかし、ドカベンという野球マンガを（少年チャンピオンで）読んでいたら「ドンマイ、ドンマイ」という言葉が何度も出てきて、いったいこの「ドンマイ」というのはどういう意味なの？って子供ごころに思ったのを覚えています...。

はなしはもどって、この mind を使って「～するのは嫌じゃない」という言い方をしたいときは、

    don't mind -ing

というふうに、mind のあとに「～する」にあたる動詞の ing形を置きます。

たとえば、

だと、「私はそれを再びするのは嫌じゃない」 → 「またそれをやってもいいですよ」ってなります。

今回の I don't mind getting wet. だと、get wet で「濡れる」なので、
